ChicTech 프로그램을 통해 자신만의 website 제작과 data visualization을 배울 수 있습니다.
영어강의와 그룹별 실습
2011년도에 이어 2번째 학생 참여
주최 : University of Illinois Urbana Champaign의 동아리 Women in Computer Science (미국 미국 일리노이주에 있는 미국 상위권 공립 대학)
(UIUC Computer Science Department에서 비용을 지원)
방법 : ZOOM / 모두 영어로 진행(미국학생들은 오프라인으로 진행)
일시 : 한국시간 11월 5일 밤11시 - 6일 오전 7시까지
참고 : 외국의 학생들과 교류할수 있는 기회(고등학생, 대학생)
외국 대학 수업을 들을 수 있는 기회
UIUC에 KSOP 출신 학생이 재학중에 있어, 만약 KSOP 학생이 신청한다면, 한국어로 도움을 줄 수 있음

University of Illinois Urbana Champaign의 동아리 Women in Computer Science입니다.
다가오는 11월 5일 저희 동아리에서 고등학생을 대상으로 ChicTech이라는 프로그램을 진행합니다
ChicTech은 Computer Science에 관심이 있는 고등학생을 대상으로 한 프로그램이며 이번 ChicTech에서는 학생들이 직접 코드를 작성하는 workshop뿐만 아니라 엄청난 강연이 준비되어 있습니다. 많은 뉴스 및 정부 기관에 쓰인 data visualization을 개발하신 Professor Wade Fagen-Ulmschneider께서 진행하시는 <Nerding out with Interactive Data Visualization Systems> 강연이 진행됩니다. 캠퍼스에서 대면으로 이루어지던 프로그램이 올해는 Zoom으로도 진행되어 한국 학생들도 참여할 수 있게 되어 기쁜 마음으로 소식을 전합니다.
행사는 미국시간으로 진행되며 한국시간으로 11월 5일 오후 11시부터 11월 6일 오전 7시까지 모두 영어로진행됩니다. (CST 9am to 5pm, November 5th) UIUC Computer Science Department에서 비용을 지원하여이루어지는 큰 행사이기에 한국에서 경험할 수 없었던 프로그램에 귀교의 많은 학생들이 참여할 기회를 잡을 수 있기를 기대합니다.

This is Women in Computer Science of the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
On November 5th, our club will host a program called ChicTech for high school students.
ChicTech is a program for high school students interested in Computer Science. This year, we will be having wonderful guest speakers. Professor Wade Fagen-Ulmschneider, the creator of many visualizations used by news organizations and the government, will do a keynote speech about <Nerding out with Interactive Data Visualization Systems>. One more exciting thing is, we will go to a workshop, in which you will write your own codes
The program, which was held in person on campus, will also be held via Zoom this year, allowing students who live in Korea to participate.
The event will be held in English from 11 p.m. November 5 to 7 a.m. November 6th in Korean time. (CST 9am to 5pm, November 5)
Since it is a big event supported by UIUC Computer Science Department, we look forward to many students taking the opportunity to participate in ChicTech and get useful information and Computer Science knowledge.
